We camp by patrol. Scouts will take turns being grubmaster, and buying the food for the patrol.
- Typical food cost for a weekend trip is $10/Scout
- Food expenses are paid before the trip to the patrol grubmaster.
- Scouts plan meals by patrol. Include meat, fruit, vegetables, breads, beverages.
- All foods must be cooked
- No packaged pre-cooked meats (such as pre-cooked sausage or bacon)
- No packaged individual servings, use bulk food. This minimizes trash, and is usually more economical.
- Scouts must use the Menu Planning form for 1st Class menu planning requirement
