Menu Planning

• We camp by patrol. Scouts will take turns being grubmaster, and buying the food for the patrol.
  • Typical food cost for a weekend trip is $10/Scout
  • Food expenses are paid before the trip to the patrol grubmaster.

• Scouts plan meals by patrol. Include meat, fruit, vegetables, breads, beverages.
• NO candy
• NO soft drinks

• All foods must be cooked
  • No packaged pre-cooked meats (such as pre-cooked sausage or bacon)
  • No packaged individual servings, use bulk food. This minimizes trash, and is usually more economical.

• Scouts must use the Menu Planning form for 1st Class menu planning requirement
